Dahi Puri is a delicious, yummy, chatpata chaat snack from Mumbai.

It is sweet, sour, tangy, spicy and crispy chaat with so many flavors and taste bursting in the mouth.

  • Main Ingredients

    • All Purpose Floor – 1/2 Cup
    • Semolina – 1/2 Cup
    • Pinch of Salt
    • Pinch of Baking Powder
    • Oil
    • Water
    • 1 Boied Potato
    • 1 Onion
    • Curd
    • Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
    • Dry Mango Powder – 1/2 tsp
    • Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
    • Boiled Black Chickpeas – Handful
    • Black Salt
    • Green Chillis
    • Green Chilli Sauce
    • Tamarind Sauce
    • Tomato Sauce
    • Coriander Leaves
    • Pomegranate
    • Namkeen

    Directions

    • Add 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour (Maida Flour) in a flour.
    • Add 1/2 cup Semolina (Soojee).
    • Add a pinch of salth.
    • Add a pinch of Baking Powder and Knead well with water.
    • Cover the dough and leave it for 10 – 15 minutes.
    • Make small and round, paper thin shapes from dough.
    • Deep fry in extremely hot oil until the small round shapes turn into sphere shapes.
    • Add 1 Mashed Potato in a boil
    • Add 1 Chopped Onion.
    • Add a handful of boiled Chickpeas.
    • Add Green Chillis to your taste.
    • Add 1/2 teaspoon of Red Chilli Powder.
    • Add 1/2 teaspoon of Dry Mango Powder (Aamchoor).
    • Add 1/2 teaspoon of Cumin Seeds (Jeera).
    • Add 1/2 teaspoon of Black Salt.
    • Add 1/2 teaspoon of Coriander Leaves and Mix Well.
    • Make a small hole on the top part of the sphere shape from Step 7.
    • Add potato mixture in it.
    • Add Curd.
    • Add Tamarind Sauce.
    • Add Green Chilli Sauce.
    • Add Tomato Sauce.
    • Add a little more Curd.
    • Add Chaat Masala.
    • Add Coriander Leaves.
    • Add Pomegranate.
    • Add Namkeen (Bhujia).
